Development of the Storewars business simulation started in 1995 at the request of a major multinational that required a management development tool to help it address the growing power of modern retailers.
Its developer - Marcel Corstjens - is Unilever Chaired Professor of Marketing at INSEAD, a top 10 international business school located in Fontainebleau, France.
