Development of the Storewars business simulation started in 1995 at the request of a major multinational that required a management development tool to help it address the growing power of modern retailers.

Its developer - Marcel Corstjens - is Unilever Chaired Professor of Marketing at INSEAD, a top 10 international business school located in Fontainebleau, France. He is director of their Advanced Consumer Goods Strategy program for senior executives. He is also a co-author of the book 'STOREWARS: The battle for Mindspace and Shelfspace'.

Storewars was developed using actual sales & marketing data from manufacturers & retailers across multiple markets.  The Storewars model accurately reflects the behaviour of markets, brands & shoppers in real markets.

The Storewars business simulation is delivered by accredited partners & trainers in developed & developing markets throughout the World.  The global rights to Storewars are owned by IMSG, a leading international consumer & trade marketing communications group.

It has been run for over 550 times for over 15,000 executives in more than 40 countries.
